So in my opinion I believe that the academy does show many tasks that a police officer will endure on his day to day basis. The video shows the overall physical fitness you have to be in. Over the time of being in the academy you will be able to perform the task of being a police officer. The training that they do is very good because they're not teaching to kill, they are teaching on how to protect. I strongly agree that the academy and how it is taught is they way it is supposed to be.
